Customs Court to remain closed for summer vacations till August 16

LAHORE: Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling will remain closed for summer vacations from August 1, 2016  to August 16, 2016.

As per the notification issued by the Lahore High Court, the Customs Court and other federal courts in Lahore will be off for 16 days in the wake of summer vacations. Meanwhile, other lower courts will also remain closed for summer vacations, including district court, civil court and special courts as well.

Every year Lahore High Court and other courts closed for summer holidays. After summer vacations Special Federal Customs Court will start proceedings again from 16th of August, 2016 as per schedule.

All the concerned parties will now have to wait for sixteen days for hearing of their cases. On the other hand duty judges will be available for all courts in case of physical remands and other important activities during vacations.
