Customs revises valuation of toilet soaps

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate General of Customs Valuation has revised valuation of toilet soaps.

The valuation of toilet soaps were revised after the importers had contended Valuation Ruling 863/2016, saying the ruling was not determined as per Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1969. Moreover, the ruling was issued on the basis of international prices gathered from internet sources.
