Customs House building renovation underway for August 14 celebrations

KARACHI: The security of the Customs House building has been beefed up, special arrangements for the cleanliness is being made and the overall building renovation is underway for the August 14 celebrations.

Sources told Customs Today that the administration of the Customs House building have ordered for the foolproof security of the Customs House building and adjacent areas. For the security purpose, the close circuit cameras are being checked and the faults are being removed.

The sources said that additional security personnel are also being deployed and vehicles have also been ordered for keep on patrolling around the area by the administration of the Customs House building,

Special arrangements for the cleanliness of the Customs House building are also being made even the road lights of the Eduljee Dinshaw Road and the windows of the Customs House building.

The building of the Customs House will pose new look after getting paints of three colors. The Customs House building is being colored in white the widows will be colored with yellow and the orange paints.

The administration of the Customs House Building has asked the workers to end the renovation of the building before 14th August. All the arrangements are being done for the celebration of the 14th August, added source.
