Valuation of toothbrushes of low-end brands revised

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate General of Customs Valuation has revised values of toothbrushes of low-end brands.

Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of toothbrushes of low-end brands through Valuation Ruling No.901/2016.

The values of values of tooth brushes (low-end brands) were known to be moved in the international market as compared to determined values vide Valuation Ruling No.736/2015 under PCT 9603.

The customs values of values of tooth brushes for adults (retail packing) of China are fixed at $0.62/dozen and all other origins at $0.82/dozen.

The customs values of values of tooth brushes for children (retail packing) of China are fixed at $0.56/dozen and all other origins at $0.72/dozen. The customs values of values of tooth brushes for adult (bulk packing) of China are fixed at $0.34/dozen and all other origins at $0.45/dozen. The customs values of values of tooth brushes for children (bulk packing) of China are fixed at $0.30/dozen and all other origins at $0.40/dozen.
