Member (Accounting) Seema Majid retiring on Jan 5

ISLAMABAD: Seema Majid, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, is going to retire from the government service on attaining the age of superannuation.

Seema Majid, presently posted as Member (Accounting), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad, will stand retired from the government service with effect from January 05, 2017.

Seema Majid, a BS-21 officer of 10th CTP, has been posted as Member Accounting in FBR (HQ) with effect from October 2, 2014. As a senior officer of the department, she has served on various key positions in the field formations as well FBR (HQ) during her professional career. She has also served as Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal on deputation.

In her illustrious career, spanning over about three decades, she has extensive working experience in every field of Taxation. She has also served as chief SP& CM (Strategic Planning and Change Management) in TARP (Tax Administrative Reform Programme).

Seema holds a Master degree in English from Punjab University and has undertaken a number of Professional and Management related training programs from institutions like LUMS, and in Inspen (Malaysia).
