12 Customs officers nominated for 22nd MCM Course

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has nominated 12 Pakistan Customs Service officers of BS-18 for 22nd Mid Career Management Course.

The 22nd MCM Course is commencing at the National Institutes of Management (NIMs) in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad from August 22, to November 25.

According to the notification, the nominated officers may report to the respective NIMs on August 20 or 21. The nominations are subject to provision of the latest annual medical examination reports to be submitted to the concerned/respective NIMs. The officers may intimate Board of their proceeding on training, it added.

It is pertinent to mention that according to revised promotion policy, :if the officer is nominated for mandatory training and he declines to proceed on training for two consecutive training courses, then he/she would forfeit the right to consideration for promotion.” Moreover, the Establishment Division has also intimated in their letter that “In case of any withdrawal of nomination either by the department by the officer himself/herself, the officer concerned will be responsible, if it adversely effects his/her promotion prospects.”
