Date for submission of tax returns extended

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has extended the last date for submission of annexure-C and annexure-I of the sales tax and federal excise return, and the date for filing sales tax and federal excise return for the tax period of July, 2016.

The FBR, exercising the powers conferred under section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, extended the date of submission of annexure-C and annexure-I of the sales tax and federal excise return from August 10 to August 15, and the date of payment of sales tax and federal excise duty from August 15 to August 18, and the date of submission of sales tax and federal excise return from August 18 to August 22.
