Pakistan’s foreign reserves decline by $327m

KARACHI: Country’s foreign reserves have registered a decline of $397 million to $22.595 billion as compared with last week’s $22.978 billion, missing the chance to touch $23 billion historic mark.

The State Bank of Pakistan on Thursday, issued weekly foreign reserves details says that during the week ending 5th August 2016, the SBP’s Liquid Foreign Reserves decreased by $397 million to $17,664 million, compared to $18,061 million a week earlier.

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $22,595.1 million on August 5th 2016. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is foreign reserves held by the State Bank stood at $17,664.2 million.
