WARSAW: Polish deputy Foreign Minister Joanna Wronecka met on Friday with a delegation from the People’s House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. The members were from the Foreign Affairs, Defence, Intelligence and Security Committee of the House. The talks focused on Poland’s relations with the biggest ASEAN member state.

“It is very important that we can host representatives of the Republic of Indonesia’s parliament in Poland. I believe that contacts between parliamentarians can go a long way in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation in different fields,” said Deputy Minister Joanna Wronecka. “Political dialogue is invaluable. Therefore, we will support all good international initiatives put forward by Indonesia,” she added. The delegation of the People’s House of Representatives will spend several days in Poland promoting Polish-Indonesian relations.
