DETROIT: Mercedes Benz establishing a new product line name ‘AMG Sport’ the new product line will offer the AMG Sports package for Mercedes Benz vehicles and the classic AMG models.
Chairman Mercedes Benz said that the first two AMG Sport models will be unveiled by the automaker at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The two models will be based on the C- Class sedan and the still to be exposed GLE Class car.
The Mercedes shared details about the two new AMG Sport models reveal that both the vehicles will be same engines with boosted power as the regular Mercedes Benz based.
Tobias Moers said that the move to launch the new product line will basically make stronger the company’s growth strategy on the AMG brand on a continued basis.
