FBR Chairman Nisar to hear cases of Masood Akhtar, Jahan Bahadur

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman will personally hear cases against Deputy Collector Customs Jahan Bahadur and Masood Akhtar. Both the officials are working in BS-19.

Sources told Customs Today that both officials are facing the charges of using official authorities beyond their legal jurisdiction and other disciplinary charges. Separate inquiry officials were deputed to conduct inquiry against these officials and after concluding the inquiry both were found involved in the charges leveled against them.

It is necessary to mention here that Member Administration Majid Qureshi directed to conduct inquiry against these officials. During inquiry enough time was provided to both officials to defend them and explain their point of view.

Now there cases are forwarded to Chairman FBR Nisar Mohammad Khan who will personally hear their point of view on the cases and will take final decision soon.
