Multan Customs to hold training workshop for importers, others on Electronic Issuance Form module

MULTAN: Multan Customs is organizing a training workshop for the clearing agents and importers along with their employees at the Customs House to aware them about Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) module.

The Directorate of Reforms and Automation will conduct the training workshop from today for the employees of the Multan Customs and local importers, include clearing agents. The training workshop will be held in the conference room of the Multan Customs House through video link from Karachi.

Appraisers, examiners from Multan Customs will also participate in training workshop of the Directorate of Reforms and Automation on the Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) module. Import consignments will be delivered through Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) module from 1st September. The Customs Collectorate Multan made special arrangements for the training session carried out through video link of roll out Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) module from September 1 for clearance of import consignments at the Multan Dry Port.

It is pertinent to mention that Customs have declared mandatory for all importers to submit their Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) for the clearance of their import consignments from September 1 and importer were worried about new module about the procedure of Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) module .Pakistan Customs have declared mandatory for all importers to submit their Electronic Issuance Form (EIF) for the clearance of their import consignments. This newly made this system works manually and through old one customs system to facilitate the importers.

Directorate of Reforms and Automation will decide to give further sessions after the feedback of employees and  their importers faced difficulties after this training session.
