KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revised valuation for determination of capital gain tax on transaction of immovable properties in Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
The FBR has increased valuation to Rs 9,100 per square yard from Rs 3,100 for determination of capital gain tax on transaction of immovable properties in DHA Phase IX.
In a notification issued on Friday, the FBR enhanced the valuation of residential open plot in DHA Phase IX (DHA City). In its notification issued on August 2, the FBR did not include some housing societies in valuation tables for Karachi city. However, in its notification issued on August 9, the revenue body included DHA City and Bahria Town (Karachi Super Highway) in the valuation table.
