ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has filed hundreds of tax cases during the last fiscal year.
According to official documents, the country’s top revenue authority filed 253 cases regarding prosecution for tax crimes from July 01, 2015 to June 30, 2016. The documents show that 23 convictions were carried while custodial sentences were ordered by the court in 20 cases.
