FBR promotes Afzal Raza as customs superintendent

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has promoted Deputy Superintendent Afzal Raza as superintendent deputing him at the Model Customs Collectorate, Sialkot.

Reportedly, Afzal Raza was already performing his duty at the Sialkot Customs as deputy superintendent but the Customs Departmental Promotion Committee reviewed his service record and nominated him for promotion in the next grade.

However, the committee sent the recommendation to the FBR for his promotion, which was accepted and he has been given promotion. He will assume the charge as office superintendent here at Sialkot Customs.

Superintendent Afzal Raza told that his service record was transparent whereas all Annual Confidential Reports (ACR’s) were in his favour, adding that he got promotion on merit. The superintendent said that he will perform his duty honestly and diligently in order to save the national revenue.

Sialkot Customs Collector Ahmed Reza Khan, Additional Collector Faiz Ali, Deputy Collectors Waheed Anwar Abro, Muhammad Hanif, Muhammad Ilyas, Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary, Personal Staff Officer (PSO) to collector Syed Musaddaq Shah and others officers congratulated Afzal Raza on his promotion as superintendent.
