QUETTA: The Customs officials have seized 187kg charas from a car near Kuchlak.
Customs Preventive Deputy Collector Amanullah Tareen, on a tipoff, formed a team to establish a check post at the suspect smuggling route. The deployed Customs officials stopped a Suzuki car near Kuchlak at Quetta-Chaman Road and recovered 187kg charas from the vehicle. However, the driver of the vehicle managed to flee from the spot.
The Customs officials, acting on the special directives of Chief Collector Enforcement South Mohammad Zahid Khokhar, are striving to curb smuggling in the region.
