All Faisalabad Appeal Branch staff transferred after tax record found missing

FAISALABAD: All the staff of Faisalabad Appeal Branch has been transferred as tax records, kept in the basement of the regional tax office, found missing’.

Chief Commissioner Shad Mohammad, taking strict action, transferred the entire staff over missing of dozens of tax evaders’ files carrying original tax records of million of rupees. Member (Legal) Shaukat Ali also visited the regional office and held meetings with the officials on the issue.

The transferred staff, including assistant personal secretary, stenotypist, head clerk, office superintendent, upper division clerk, lower division clerks, drivers, dispatch rider, notice servers and naib qasids, has been replaced with people from different branches.
