KARACHI: An Excise and Taxation team has seized huge quantity of charas from a tractor trolley at Sakrand Check Post.
The E&T team, led by ETI Abdul Razaq Meerani, searched the tractor trolley bearing No LRC 3953 at the check post and found 100-kilogramme charas, hidden in different parts of the vehicle.
An accused, identified as Muhammad Aslam son of Hayat Muhammad and resident of district Attock, was also arrested, said an official statement. An FIR has been lodged and the investigations are underway.
