Customs Preventive plans to set up website

SIALKOT: Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary has said that the Customs Preventive Department has made a plan to set up a website to facilitate passengers, traders and foreign institutions in the country.

Sources told Customs Today that the department will set up its own website because it is need of time. The website will provide all information about Customs Preventive to help air travellers, traders and exporters. The department wanted to set up its website but the higher customs authorities have instructed to all Customs Collectorates to set up their own websites.

The Customs Preventive Department will prepare design of website and send to the higher customs authorities for approval and after approval the department will not be authorized to change its design. The head of the department will be the incharge of the website and Collectors will look after its functions. The department will get comments from the passengers, traders and foreign institutions. The department will try to remove the faults pointed out by the people in their comments.
