KARACHI: The Customs Department has given transshipment consignments exemption from the condition of electronic I-Form.
The Customs, on the recommendation of State Bank of Pakistan, gave interim relief to the transshipment consignments which filed their manifest before August 30, 2016.
The SBP and Pakistan Customs have successfully launched and implemented Electronic Import From (EIF) Module in WeBOC (Web Based One Custom), the IT system of Pakistan Customs from September 1, 2016. The Module has been developed in consultation with all the relevant stakeholders including the importers, clearing agents, bankers, etc.
