Customs Court to hear 25 cases on Monday

KARACHI: Custom Court Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi on Monday will take up more than 25 customs and tax related cases.

According to the cause list, these cases will be fixed before the court for regular hearing, prosecution evidences and conformation of bail applications. The court office has prepared the cause list and issued intimation notices to the parties.

On Saturday, after vacations of the Eidul Azha, Custom Court Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi had heard more than five cases at Hyderabad bench. During the hearing, counsel for the defence and department made request before the court for preparation, therefore, the court adjourned the hearing after giving next date of hearing.

It needs to be mentioned here that Monday to Wednesday Custom Court was closed on the eve of Eid, meanwhile, on Thursday, no case was fixed for hearing and on Friday Custom Court Judge was on leave.
