Customs Preventive launches website for stakeholders

LAHORE: Customs Preventive Lahore launched first ever Customs information website in order to facilitate local traders and global institutions.

It is said that there are sixteen collectorates working in Pakistan and the Customs Preventive Collectorate Lahore become the first-ever collectorate that launched informative website to facilitate the stakeholders. The website has been launched under the web address: www.customspreventivelahore.gov.pk

It was said that Customs Preventive Collector Zulfiqar Younas took special interest in order to develop the website to facilitate the stakeholders.

The website will enable the passenger traveling abroad would be able to consult various rules of customs including quantity of currency mobiles for international travellers besides information on import and export related issues will also be provided on the website.

Collector Preventive Zulfiqar Younis while talking to Customs Today said that the information technology is important component of the present era and without adopting the technology progress is hard.  He added that since the collectorate of Preventive has launched the website, traders, travelers, local and international organizations will be able to benefit from it.

He said that the website will be developed further on modern lines besides books of customs laws will also be added in the website for the visitors.
