SINGAPORE: A Singapore-bound passenger was detained at the Chennai airport for allegedly trying to carry foreign currency worth about Rs. 15 lakh, officials said.
The passenger, Shahul Hameed (38) from Chennai, was found carrying American and British currency in his hand baggage by customs authorities.
