FPCCI congrats new elected office bearers of FCCI

FAISALABAD: Mian Muhammad Idrees former President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has congratulated the new office bearers of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and hoped that they would not only serve to the business community but would also play their dynamic role in the overall development of the city.

Addressing a press conference immediately after the provisional announcement of the result of the office bearers, he said that a specific group has established its hegemony and it was national group that promoted democratic traditions in the institution. He contradicted that recently elected office bearers are mere selection and said that the election schedule was properly advertised in press but no person or group opted to contest the election. He said that we are adding new sectors in FCCI to make it more and effective representative forum of the business community.

He claimed that every year new office bearers are elected and it is hard fact that they also deliver and due to their efforts the FCCI has been included among top five chambers of Pakistan. He appreciated the role of media and said that they have always supported our cause by projecting our view point at the government forum.
