Sialkot Customs exports increases 2% in first three month of FY 1016-17

SIALKOT: Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar Abro has said that the export from Customs Collectorate Sialkot is increasing day by day whereas the slump in export has decreased and the ratio of FCL and LCL export is improving.

He said that the export process by Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) is much better. Wheed said that the Sialkot export is on behalf of cottage industry and the export items of this industry are very famous in whole world whereas Sialkot has good name in world on behalf of export. He said that the Sialkot is export to oriented city and this city is hub of export whereas exporters of Siallkot are roaming ambassadors while the Sialkot is earning $2 billion per annum as foreign exchange on behalf of export. He said that more than 2 percent export increased in the first three months of fiscal year 2016-17 and it is good achievement of Sialkot exporters. He said that need to improve Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s) because the SME’s are making to strengthen the national exchequer whereas the SME’s playing vital role to boost export from Pakistan. He said that the exporters of Sialkot really very co-operative and Customs officers and officials also co-operate with exporters to improve export while they export under the guidance of Customs Department and getting fruitful results.
