KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed zero-rated sales tax on supply of electricity to an industrial unit.
The FBR, exercising powers conferred upon it by clause (d) of section 4 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, made the following further amendments in its Sales Tax General Order No 17 of 2007 dated September 13, 2007. Under the amendments, in the Table, serial number 2749 in column (3) for the figures “2400404513319” and “2400404549910, will be substituted.
