FST adjourns hearing of six service matters filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of six service matters filed by employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

While issuing the directives to the counsels to ensure presence before the bench on the next hearing during third week of October, the FST division bench comprising Members, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed, adjourned the hearing of cases carrying ‘implementation’ ‘seniority’ and others complaints.

The appellant Inam ul Haque had filed ‘Implementation’ case asking the tribunal to ensure implementation over its decision which he had filed initially in 2009.

The would also hear Shafqat Mahmud’s complaint about ‘Promotion’; Khalid Mehmood’s case of ‘Seniority’; Ghulafm Ishaq Kiyani and Ata ur Rehman’s cases on ‘Withholding of two Annual increments’.

Another FBR employee, Nawab Khan, had filed complaint on ‘Protection of salary’. He had asked the tribunal to direct the department on providing him salary as per rules.
