MULTAN: Customs Court sent two women who are allegedly involved in gold smuggling to jail on 14-day judicial remand on Thursday.
Customs officials said Haleema Riaz of Lahore and Sumaira Asif of Multan were arrested from Multan Airport in an attempt to smuggle 14-kg gold and foreign currency to Dubai through a flight. The special judge of Customs Court Lahore sent both the women to jail on judicial remand.
