Saad orders railway land’s computerisation in 3 months

LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has directed the authorities concerned to ensure complete computerisation of the railways lands in three months.

He said that the PR would provide all-out security and cooperation for the computerisation task.

Presiding over a meeting regarding the PR land management information system, under the project management unit, held at the PR Headquarters here on Thursday. He urged the authorities concerned to complete survey for computerization of the railway lands in minimum possible time. He expressed his satisfaction over the progress made so far on the land survey, jointly conducted by the Punjab Urban Unit and the PR.

Earlier, Chief Executive Officer Punjab Urban Unit Dr Nasir Javid gave briefing on the progress and informed that 90 per cent work on survey had been completed and the rest would be completed soon.PR Chairperson Parveen Agha, PR CEO Javaid Anwar and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
