HELSINKI: Retail giant S-Group’s retail sales before taxes rose in January-September by 1.8 per cent. Sales especially grew in the grocery trade, while the consumer goods sales also exceeded the company’s expectations, S-Group said in an earnings statement.
According to SOK CEO Taavi Heikkilä, consumer goods sales at departmental stores Prisma in Finland have shown a particular spike. The grocery trade in Finland increased 3.9 per cent and consumer goods sales rose 2.4 per cent.
