Delegation of NSC’s 20th senior management course visits FCCI

FAISALABAD: A delegation of 20th Senior Management Course of the National Staff College (NSC) Lahore on Tuesday visited the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI).

Addressing on the occasion, FCCI President Engr Muhammad Saeed Sheikh said that a complete harmony between government, bureaucracy and public was imperative to achieve the goal of progress, and prosperity in the country. He said that government in collaboration with business community was making serious efforts to stabilize national economy. He demanded a uniformed taxation system to promote the tax culture in the country.

He said the government preferred consultation with the business community on business related issues and as a result of this process five exports sectors were declared zero-rated. The government had ensured the supply of uninterrupted electricity and gas to industrial sectors, he added.

The FCCI President said the FCCI had taken yet another bold step to send trade delegations to the potential markets of other countries, adding that two delegations had recently visited Sweden and Germany while four others were in the pipeline.

Responding to a question, he further said the FCCI had 5000 members within its fold. They belong to all sectors of national economy and the FCCI was making continuous efforts to resolve their day to day problems.FCCI senior vice president, Rana Sikandar Azam and vice president Ahmed Hassan also spoke on the occasion.
