FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely Muhammad Akram, proprietor of Haram Textile Faisalabad, during an action.
FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi conducted raid and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them.
The FIA has also recovered 45 Pakistani passports and several fake documents from his possession. The officials sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case No. 359/2016 against him under Section 6PA and 17/22 Emigration Ordinance. During initial investigation, the accused revealed that in connivance with Danish, his accomplice, they were involved in sending people abroad on employment visa.
