Faisalabad Customs forms special teams for recovery of arrears

FAISALABAD: Collector Customs Collectorate Faisalabad Dr Zulifkar Ali Chaudhary has formed special teams for the recovery of arrears from the business community.

Sources informed Customs Today that Collector Zulifkar Ali instructed the officials concerned to constitute teams to complete this task. These teams were constituted according to Rules 215-A of the Customs Act 2001.

These teams are constituted to scrutinize the cases of irrecoverable arrears from tax evaders. The team comprising Additional Collector Muhammad Saeed Asad, Additional Deputy Collector Pirzada Muhammad Omar Qasmi and  Deputy Collector Falik Shair and Superintendent Mukhtar Hussain and Dilawar Hussain will assist the team. The committee will give clear cut recommendations after analyzing in details of each according to Customs Rules 2001.

Sources said that these teams will work in different areas of the city which includes Sargodha Road, Small Industrial Estate, Canal Road, Susan Road, Madina Town, district Chiniot, Jaranwala, Koh-e-Noor City, tehsil Samundari, Dajkot Road and other areas of their jurisdiction.
