Custom Court to hear over 22 cases on Monday

KARACHI: Special Court of Custom Taxation and Anti-smuggling Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi on Monday will take up more than 22 customs and income tax related cases.

According to the cause list, regular hearing, prosecution evidences and confirmation of bail applications were included in these cases. The custom court has already issued notices to the parties and investigation officers for attending the court on Monday.

Another side, two benches of the Sindh High Court (SHC) also will take up more than 95 custom and income tax related cases on Monday.

According to the roaster, one bench will be comprised Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Rasheed Ahmed Soomro and another Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Muhammad Humayon Khan.

As per details, intimation notices were also issued to the both sides’ parties for attending the court and SHC has directed the parties to file rejoinders before the courts.
