FIA arrests human trafficker

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested human trafficker during an operation against human smugglers.

The FIA’s anti-human trafficking cell raided a locality near Mandi Bahauddin and arrested an accused, Zafar Iqbal, who was involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.

The agency registered a case against the accused under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.

The accused had looted millions of rupees by deceiving the people in guise of sending them abroad. The FIA also recovered passports, currency and fake documents from his possession.

Number of complaints were registered against these accuses in this regard. The accused has been shifted to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
