MULTAN: Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture Rana Ejaz Noon said that the government has constituted a committee to extend recommendations for abolishing agriculture income tax.
The provincial government is well aware of problems of farmers. The committee’s recommendations would be submitted to the federal government for consideration. It gave Rs 100 billion package for promoting agriculture sector and improving financial condition of farmers. The process for collection of agriculture income tax has also been suspended, he added.
