WARSAW: Registered unemployment in Poland fell to 8.2 percent in October, officials said on Tuesday.
The figure — the lowest recorded for the month of October since 1991 — is 0.1 percentage point down on September and 1.4 percentage points lower than in October 2015. Stanisław Szwed, deputy minister for family, work and social policy, said joblessness would probably be at 8.2-8.3 percent at the end of this year.
