Customs Court remands Indian citizen in currency smuggling case

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has sent an Indian citizen who is allegedly involved in currency smuggling through Wagah border, on a 14-day judicial remand.

The accused who is an Indian national was arrested by the customs authorities from Wagah Railways Station while he was making an attempt to smuggle Rs 225,000 to India from Lahore.
