ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal comprising Member Rafique Shah and Dr Nazir is set to hear five complaints on Wednesday filed by employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
The appellants, Ghulam Akbar Chandio, Sohail Ahmed Qureshi, Sajjad Ahmed, Saleem Akbar and Ch Muhammad Aslam had filed cases challenging administrative measures taken by the board regarding promotion of appellants.
All of the appellants had filed petitions carrying complaints about un-granted promotion by the board. They had prayed the tribunal to direct the board to award them their rightful promotion which they had not been granted despite serving for years at the board.
The appellants asked the tribunal to take notice of undue delay regarding their promotion by the board and issue necessary directives to the board in their cases.
The appellants had prayed the tribunal hold speedy hearing of their complaints and dispose them office at the earliest in order to bring justice to them.
The tribunal also held hearing of these cases last week and had then adjourned hearing without issuing any directive in this regard.
