BERLIN: Deutsche Telekom reported another quarter of higher results, led by growth in the US and stable results in Germany. Net revenue rose 5.9 percent to EUR 18.1 billion, and adjusted EBITDA increased 7.2 percent to EUR 5.5 billion. At T-Mobile US, revenue rose 17.3 percent to USD 8.3 billion, while sales in Germany were down 0.8 percent to EUR 5.6 billion, and the rest of Europe contracted 1.2 percent to EUR 3.2 billion.

The company’s net profit increased more than than 30 percent to EUR 1.1 billion, due mainly to one-time restructuring charges a year ago, and free cash flow jumped 45.6 percent to EUR 1.9 billion. Capex excluding spectrum costs reached EUR 2.7 billion, up 1.5 percent year-on-year.
