Peshawar Dry Port collects Rs 753.09m from July to October 2016

ISLAMABAD: Peshawar Customs Dry Port bond section collected duties and taxes amounting to Rs 753.09 million during the first four months of the fiscal year 2016-17 while Rs 1,055.541 million were collected during the same period of last fiscal year.

Sources told Customs Today that during the month of October bonded section collected total duties and taxes amounting to Rs 199.706 million while during the same period of the fiscal year 2015-16 bond section collected Rs 261.387 million.

Sources said that during September, the bond section collected all duty/taxes amounting to Rs222.816 million and in the same period of September Fiscal Year 2015-16 the bond section collected duty taxes amounting to Rs273.260 million.

The sources added that during the month of August bond section collected all duty taxes under value of Rs158.211 million and during same period of FY 2015-16 the Bond section collected duty taxes amounting to Rs311.429 million.

Sources further said that in month of July 2016-17 bond section collected duty taxes under value of Rs172.325 million as for as in the same period of financial year 2015-16 the bond section collected duty taxes under value of Rs209.465 million.
