FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely as Shahid Shabir son of Shabir Ahmad during a raid.
FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi conducted raid along with Sub-Inspector Ajmal Hussain and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them. The accused had extorted Rs 425,000 from a complainant for overseas employment in Dubai, but he remained fail.
The officials sent the accused behind the bars after registering a FIR No. 490/2016 against him under Section 17/22 Emigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979. Further investigation in the case is underway.
