Customs Appraisement to hold auction of seized vehicles, goods on November 21

LAHORE:  The Auction Department of the Customs Appraisement has finalized the date for auction of vehicles and goods confiscated in different actions.

As per details, the impounded cars, heavy bikes, spare parts, polypropylene printed sheets, shoes, tea and other goods will be presented for the auction on ‘as it is basis’. Interested parties and persons will be allowed to examine and check the goods presented for auction two days before the date of auction.

Customs auctioneer has issued directions that any person who want to participate in auction of vehicles and other goods should bring his national identity card with him on the day of auction. The National Tax Number is also mandatory to participate in the auction.

Customs Appraisement sources said that impounded cars, generators, tyres, cloths and other items will be presented for auction. Number of cars including imported heavy vehicles of Japan will also be presented for auction.

Assistant Collector Chaudhary Muhammad Hanif told Customs Today that any interested persons or company who wants to take part in open auction can contact Inspector Babar Malik on his phone number 0333-8510615 for further information and terms and conditions.

He said that goods which will be offered for auction include curtain cloth, ladies cloth, generators, gate wolves, electronics items, Japanese Honda heavy bike, bicycles, Bed-ford tractor, toys, watches, mobile phone sets etc.
