LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to the Ministry of Finance and Attorney General of Pakistan in a case pertaining to extra sales tax on petroleum products. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf woman leader Andleeb Abbas challenged the extra sales tax on petroleum products in the LHC on November 23.

However, 17 percent sales tax is being charged on petroleum products without seeking approval from parliament, he added.
