Customs Exports finalized rebate claims’ list

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate Exports has finalized the list of rebate claims, which has to pay to the different exporters.

According to details, the Collectorate after compiling a detailed list has submitted the same before the Collector Exports Muhammad Yaqoob Mako.

The sources informed Customs Today that the list containing the names of around 75 exporters whose rebate claims were being in pending since the year 2014-2015.

The sources further disclosed that billions of rupees rebate claims will be paid to exporters; adding that the Customs authorities are going to release those rebate claims by the start of next month i.e. December to the exporters phase wise.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Collector Customs Collectorate Exports Yaqoob Mako had given the task to the officers of the Collectorate to compile a detailed list in connection with preparing the rebate claims list.

It is also necessary to mention here that the Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was already directed to release the rebate claims after compiling a detail list.
