Astana EXPO begins in June 2017

HELSINKI: Now it is time for you to be part of Finland at Astana EXPO 2017! EXPO is open from 10th of June to 10th of September 2017 – a full 93 days of pure energy in various ways. More than 80% of expected 2 million visitors will be from Kazakhstan, while the remainder will be from Central Asia, Europe, Russia and China.

The Expo, subsidized by the Government of Finland, will be an unforgettable platform displaying Finland and its society, culture, industry and science. The Finnish pavilion offers all Finnish companies an excellent platform to strengthen their business operations or to open new markets in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. At the VIP lounge you will have an opportunity to arrange business meetings and events for your clients. With the theme of Astana Expo 2017 – “Future Energy – Solutions for Tackling Mankind’s Greatest Challenge” – Kazakhstan sets out an excellent possibility to showcase each country’s knowhow in promotion of sustainable energy.

Finnair will add a new short-haul route to Astana, operating two weekly flights between Helsinki and Astana, from June 19 to August 11. On 20th of June Finland will celebrate the National Day at EXPO – The centenary of Finland’s independence. The program will include different cultural events with high level officials and representatives from Finland. In the history of the World Expos Finland has been profiled particularly high in the architectural design of pavilions and in the showcase of innovations.
