LCCI holds condolence reference for Sheikh Saleem Ali

LAHORE: Renowned businessman Sheikh Saleem Ali was a tallest personality who has left a number of success stories behind. His services for the cause of business community and the humanity would be remembered always. As president of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), he has achieved various milestones and hoisted the national flag at global level.

These tributes were presented at a condolence reference here at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry held to acknowledge the services of its former president (late) Sheikh Saleem Ali.

The LCCI President Abdul Basit, former LCCI President Tariq Hameed, Bashir A. Baksh, Muhammad Ali Mian, Mian Muzaffar Ali, Sohail Lashari, former Vice Presidents Aftab Ahmed Vohra, Nasir Saeed, Executive Committee Members Mian Zahid Javed, Chaudhry Khadim Hussain, Mian Muhammad Nawaz, Shahid Nazir and other Executive Committee Members spoke on the occasion. The speakers recalled the services of Sheikh Saleem Ali and termed his death an irreparable loss.

LCCI President Abdul Basit spoke about Sheikh Saleem Ali’s contribution to the trade and industry and recalled that he always preferred work over his health and always given priority to his commitment.

He said that it was enormous support that helped lift the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry to its zenith. “A true, intelligent, honest and frank person, Sheikh Saleem Ali was a shining example success stories”, Abdul Basit added.

Fateha was also offered for Sheikh Saleem Ali, and participants prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to members of the bereaved family.
