The source informed that regarding the details of the cases the collector also held a meeting with the additional collector and deputy collector of the legal branch.

Senior customs officer in the meeting with the Collector further said that different courts of law are very busy in bundles of cases due to which many cases are still not being heard whereas the proceedings of the other cases are very slow and steady creating difficulties. All the details of the pending cases in High Court, Customs Tribunal as well as Customs Appellate will be submitted to the Collector within the fifteen days, added source.
