Customs initiates grand operation against persons involved in money laundering

LAHORE: Collectoarte of Customs Preventive in order to curb illegal transportation of the currency has constituted teams under the additional collector of Allama Iqbal International Airport.

As per details the teams have started strict checking of suspicious travelers and the teams would be authorized to check all the entrances and exit of the airport.

It was said that the collector Customs Preventive instructed the teams to make the money laundering cell effective and ensure the passengers declare all their currencies at the desk of the cell.

The collectors issued the instructions to all customs officials to be vigilant on the airport to prevent every kind of smuggling especially currency from the Allama Iqbal International Airport.

In order to ensure that each and every passenger is thoroughly search the collectorate has increased the numbers of the officials and even made shifts to ensure strict vigilance so that no smuggler could be successful in his endeavor to smuggle the important forex exchange.

The collectors has instructed the customs officials to do their utmost to make the grand operation a success and the subordinate in response to the instructions have started scanning the passengers so that no smuggler could travel with the currency more than the allow quantity.
