Royal Bank of Canada announces earnings results for FY 2016

OTTAWA: Royal Bank of Canada(NYSE:RY) announced the earnings results for Fiscal Year 2016 and Q4. The results came in during Pre-market on Nov 30, 2016. Company reported revenue of $7.01B. Analysts estimated a revenue of $7.04B. The revenues were $-26.00M or NaN% below the estimates. Earnings per share were $1.25. The reported EPS was below estimates by $-0.04 or NaN%. Analysts had estimated an EPS of $1.29.

In a different note, On Sep 14, 2016, Citigroup said it Maintains its rating on Royal Bank of Canada. In the research note, the firm Raises the price-target to $89.00 per share. The shares have been rated ‘Buy’ by the firm.
